Community Jam Session

March 7th and 14th

March Community Jam Session is quickly approaching!

Do you love making music and want to dive deeper into the sounds of traditional jazz? We invite musicians of all ages—generally high school and older— for a fun, welcoming, and inspiring musical experience.

The Community Jam Sessions are intended for intermediate and proficient players who are ready to explore trad jazz. While we won’t be teaching basic instrument skills, we do love sharing ideas, techniques, and traditions that bring this music to life.

If you’re new to traditional jazz, you’ll find encouragement, community, and plenty of great music here. Come play, listen, and learn with us—we’d love to have you!

Please RSVP below. We will email you a password protected link to access all the details including charts, inspiring recordings, and other information. You will also be invited to our private Facebook group so we can stay in touch. Once you join the Facebook Community Jam Sessions group, you’ll be the first to know about new Community Jam Session, and create connections with other musicians who have attended our Community Jam Sessions.

Session 1 is “Our Rehearsal” session. Saturday, March 7th from 10a to 12p at Syncopation Hall 201296 State Highway 49, Wittenberg, WI 54499 (near Rosholt)

Session 2 is “The Performance” session. Saturday, March 14th from 10a to 12p at Rose House, 1140 Clark St, Stevens Point, WI 54481

Please check your calendars, as we’re ideally looking for musicians who can attend both sessions.

Also note, the performance at Rose House is in conjunction with their NEW Jazz Brunch event. Please bring friends and family, and plan on enjoying a few drinks and/or brunch during the gig.
